Play Mods is a UK-based business that customises gaming devices such as Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, and DS Lite by modifying their appearance with different shells, buttons, triggers, and other aesthetic changes. We do not modify software or hardware in a way that alters the original functionality intended by the manufacturer.

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental permission to make a purchase.

All devices we sell are pre-owned or customer-supplied for modification unless explicitly stated otherwise.

We are not affiliated with Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, or any other gaming company.

Play Mods reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion.

  1. Customisation Requests

All modifications are aesthetic unless explicitly stated.

Once an order is placed, changes may not be possible if work has begun.

Colours and finishes may appear slightly different in person than on screen due to lighting and screen settings.

  1. Pricing & Payment

Prices are listed in GBP and are subject to change.

Payment must be made in full before any custom work begins.

We accept payments via Square and other approved payment methods listed on our site.

  1. Warranty & Liability

We guarantee that our modifications are done to a high standard, but we cannot provide warranties on third-party parts.

We are not responsible for damages caused by misuse, mishandling, or future modifications after purchase.

All images, designs, and content on our website belong to Play Mods and cannot be used without permission.

Shipping Policy

Orders from the Accessories or Modding Shop will be dispatched within two working days. Custom builds require between two and six weeks for completion before dispatch.

  1. Delivery Options

UK delivery is via Royal Mail or a courier service with tracking.

International shipping is available but may incur customs charges, which are the buyer’s responsibility.

  1. Lost or Delayed Shipments

If an order is lost, we will work with the courier to investigate.

Delivery delays due to customs or postal issues are beyond our control.

  1. Address Accuracy

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide the correct shipping address.

If an incorrect address is provided, we are not responsible for lost parcels.

Returns Policy

Due to the custom nature of our products, returns are only accepted for faulty items.

Items must be returned within 7 days of delivery.

  1. Refunds & Exchanges

If the item is faulty, we will repair or replace it. If this is not possible, a refund will be issued.

The item must be returned in its original condition with all included parts.

  1. Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty.

We recommend using tracked delivery as we are not responsible for lost returns.

  1. Non-Returnable Items

Custom orders cannot be returned unless faulty.

Any item that has been further modified after purchase cannot be returned.
