1. Shipping Policy

1.1 Processing Time

  • Custom orders are hand-built to your specifications and typically take 7-14 days to complete before dispatch.
  • Processing times may vary based on order volume, part availability, and complexity. We will notify you if there are any unexpected delays.
  • Ready-made or in-stock items (if applicable) are dispatched within 1-3 business days of payment confirmation.

1.2 Delivery Options & Timeframes

  • UK Orders: Shipped via Royal Mail Tracked or Courier Service with tracking and estimated delivery of 1-3 business days after dispatch.
  • International Orders: Available via International Tracked services. Delivery times vary by country, typically 5-14 business days.
  • Customs processing may cause delays beyond our control. We are not responsible for customs-related delays.

1.3 Shipping Costs

  • Shipping fees are calculated at checkout and depend on the destination and selected service.
  • Any additional import duties, taxes, or fees charged by your local customs office are the responsibility of the buyer.

1.4 Lost or Delayed Shipments

  • If your order has not arrived within the estimated timeframe, please check your tracking number and contact the courier before reaching out to us.
  • We will assist in investigating lost shipments, but Play Mods is not responsible for postal or courier delays beyond our control.
  • If an order is confirmed as lost by the courier, we will either replace or refund the order at our discretion.

1.5 Address Accuracy

  • Customers must ensure that the shipping address entered at checkout is correct.
  • We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
  • If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for re-shipping fees.

2. Returns Policy

2.1 Custom Orders & Returns

  • Due to the custom nature of our products, returns are only accepted for faulty or incorrect items.
  • Custom-built devices cannot be returned or refunded for “change of mind” reasons.
  • Once work has started on a custom order, cancellations are no longer possible.

2.2 Faulty or Incorrect Items

  • If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos/videos of the issue.
  • We will assess the problem and offer either a repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the nature of the fault.
  • If a return is required, we will provide return instructions and a return shipping label (UK customers only).

2.3 Return Eligibility & Conditions

  • Faulty items must be reported within 14 days of delivery to be eligible for a repair or replacement.
  • Items must be returned in their original condition with all included parts (e.g., buttons, chargers, cases).
  • Items that have been further modified, tampered with, or damaged due to misuse are not eligible for returns.

2.4 Refunds & Exchanges

  • Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will process your repair, replacement, or refund within 7 business days.
  • Refunds are issued back to the original payment method.
  • If a replacement is issued, shipping times may apply based on stock availability.

2.5 Return Shipping

  • If an item is deemed faulty, Play Mods covers return shipping costs (UK customers only).
  • International customers must cover return shipping costs, but we will reimburse reasonable costs for valid warranty claims.
  • We recommend using a tracked service, as we are not responsible for lost returns.

3. Warranty & Limitations

3.1 Limited Warranty

  • Our custom modifications are done to a high standard, but we do not provide warranties on third-party parts (e.g., aftermarket shells, buttons).
  • If your device develops a fault related to our modifications within 1 year of delivery, we will assess the issue and offer a repair if possible.
  • This does not cover faults caused by accidental damage, misuse, or future modifications.

3.2 What Is Not Covered

  • General wear and tear (e.g., button wear, minor cosmetic scratches).
  • Issues arising from water damage, impact damage, or customer modifications.
  • Issues with pre-existing hardware or software faults in customer-supplied devices.
